The concept of the Heir and Spare dates back thousands of years and is one of the main pillars when discussing the titled peerage and really ANY Royal Family. "Who will inherit?!" is the question they always come back to. Since the release Spare, Prince Harry was very transparent about this disparity STILL being alive and well within The House of Windsor.
