After a promising first half performance, and having taken the lead with a flowing attack finished off by Elliott, Liverpool were unfortunate to concede a deflected equaliser before the end of the first 45, and never really recovered. Klopp’s men never really got going in the second half and lost what little momentum they had with substitutions on the hour and sloppy late defending. Trent looks fed-up, Fab’s lost the plot and Mo can’t hit a proverbial barn-door with a banjo at present the youngsters again stealing the show. We go again at Wolves on the weekend in the PL.
