Nutrition delivery can be a challenge at times on surgical services and there are always a lot of questions by clinicians on how to approach enteral delivery with patients, calculating individual caloric goals, route of nutritional delivery, and choosing the correct supplemental formulas.

Dr Winkler is a Professor of Surgery at the Alpert School of Medicine here at Brown and a Surgical Nutrition Specialist in the Department of Surgery and Nutritional Support Service at Rhode Island Hospital.
