After Ms. Fitzgerald's journal was thoroughly analyzed, police continued their search for the missing woman, combing the city for her whereabouts. She was never found. However, around the same time as her disappearance, various people attending support groups around the city began to disappear. Authorities believe the cases may be related, Ms. Fitzgerald being just one of the many missing victims.
