It’s my 4 year business anniversary and I honestly feel like a completely different person. I was such a different person back then and my business was operating out of balance for so long.
Looking back, I can see why hustle seemed like the only option I had. It was the only approach taught in business!
Most of my business idols hustled their way to success so it’s no wonder it felt like the only way.
In fact, the common entrepreneurial narrative we’ve accepted in society today normalises exhaustion and burn out. And well… frankly I disagree with that message.
You do not have to be burnt-out to build your business.
Today I build and operate my business from ‘balance’. I will not trade out my rest, values and peace of mind for a quick win. This mentality shift has saved me so much energy and time wasted on hustling.
