We do scary things all the time in life. For me, it was competing in a State powerlifting comp for the first time!
I decided to compete in this sport (despite it being extremely masculine) because I wanted to challenge myself to implement flow-state. Let's say, I wanted to prove to myself I could do hard things and harness flow while doing them!
Knowing what I know about what happens when we're in flow- I knew there was no other way to do this competition other than to do it in FLOW.
If flow is 'optimal state' then I wanted to make this comp experience as enjoyable and ease-ful as possible!
So here's how I did it...
