Author, Jeanette Walls, details within the pages of this book her rollercoaster of a life. In her early years, she was dragged along in a nomadic lifestyle by her parents, Rex and Rose Mary Walls. Though her parents were intelligent, skilled, and embracing of life, they struggled with society’s ideals, money, and were inconsistent in providing for Jeanette and her three siblings. Though Jeanette dealt with many ups and downs throughout her life, these experiences helped her develop strength and the drive to overcome her struggles.
