Ep. 11- My History is Her Story

Cape & Drew have a sit down with the one and only Candace Cooper. Born and raised in Raleigh, Cooper was the first black woman to swim for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after graduating from high school in 2008. After training and participating for the 2016 Olympic Trials, Cooper retired from swimming and earned a Master of Arts in Management from the Wake Forest University School of Business. Tune in to hear more of her unique story and how she dealt with discrimination during her time as a student-athlete!
