John Rush joins Ewan Petrie for this weeks episode of "The Tracks That Take Us Back". John is a Glasgow based singer/songwriter with a sound described as "folk tinged pop". Originally from Paisley, John has been honing his craft for many years and 2019 saw the release of his stunning debut album "Beneath The Apple Tree". That same year also saw John sell out his first headline show at Room 2 in Glasgow, adding another impressive venue to the list of locations that John has performed at across the city including the Barrowlands, the O2 Academy and the Royal Concert Hall. As we look towards more positive days post pandemic, the future looks exciting for John with a new album on the way and a host festival appearances in 2021/2022.
