On this episode, I'm talking with my friend, Philip Jenkins. Philip is a husband, father, minister, author, and most recently, a middle school teacher. Philip and I talk about how impactful the local congregation can and should be in the spiritual development of our kids. Philip shares some of his experience as a youth minister, seeing firsthand the power of mentoring when older members of the congregation take an interest in investing in younger generations. We also spend some time discussing ways parents can cultivate creativity and develop confidence in the hearts and minds of our children.
