“Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.” Proverbs 8:30
Proverbs 8 gives us a glimpse into that divine fellowship between the Father and the Son before creation. It was a perfect unity, a relationship of delight and purpose. I think about that and realize that love always has been costly.
It cost the Father to send the Son, just as it cost my father in World War II to give up his dreams for the sakes of others. God’s wisdom still calls us to live for something higher, to step out of self-preservation and into self-giving love.
Choose today to walk in wisdom that lives for the benefit of others and doesn’t live just to please itself.
