I've shelved this movie review for close to a year, but the people want it. On the surface, Drumline is a really good movie, but if you look a little closer, it's possibly one of the best movies of all time. I have no doubt this movie will get admitted into the Criterion collection and Nick Cannon will be inducted in the acting hall of fame or get a Nobel prize for his performance. Is Drumline about a fatherless kid trying to make his way through the world in this coming of age story? Or is it really a social commentary about how we deal with special needs in today's society? I'll let you be the judge. What should I review next?
