S3 Episode 13: Cynthia Psencik on Leadership and Mentorship

CWIB Presidents Taryn DeLong and Elise Crawford Gallagher’s new book, Holy Ambition: Thriving as a Catholic Woman at Work and at Home, is out and available for purchase!

Season 3 of Catholic Women Lead will share excerpts from Elise and Taryn’s interviews with 16 Catholic businesswomen. Their stories are included in the book, but there wasn’t room for all of their wisdom, so we’re sharing it here on our podcast.

In episode 13, GIVEN Institute’s mentoring program and alumnae director, Cynthia Psencik, shares her career journey, her leadership style and how she’s cultivated it, and advice for women seeking to mentor and be mentored.

About Cynthia:

Cynthia Psencik was born and raised in New York City. After studying and working in the Fashion Industry, she felt called to serve in the Archdiocese of New York. For almost 20 years, she held roles in the Hispanic Ministry Office, the Department of Youth Faith Formation, and served as the Director of the Office of Youth Ministry before joining the staff at the GIVEN Institute as the Mentoring Program and Alumnae Director. She has a Master's in Pastoral Ministry from Fordham University and has been married for 8 years to her husband Evan. They currently live in Austin, TX. Connect with her on LinkedIn.
