Cost reduction - through Lean and Kaizen principles and business model simplification. First exposure to this was in my hands on role in Japan at the start of my career.
ERP (SAP) implementation and integration on 4 occasions on a global scale with specific focus on order to cash execution.
Led the regional manufacturing and supply platforms that include facilities management, purchasing and planning, engineering, operations and quality resources.
Regular acquisitions led to regular structural change and redefinition in which I had a central as we matched operational capability to customer service needs.
Strong and experienced people coach with significant multifunctional, multinational, diverse teams ranging from hundreds to 25,000 people in my most recent role.
Enjoyed building strong teams and relationships in China, India, Australia, Europe, Middle East, North America, South America. A fundamental cornerstone was to culturally understand the people in each region.
