ANXIETY rears its ugly head: "The past is never far." Goo Goo Dolls

Cayla suffered verbal and emotional abuse growing up. She believed what she was told until she discovered her family trauma was not "normal."

She moved to self harm to take her "mind" by redirecting the pain to a physical release.

Listen in as Cayla shares one part of her story and how she overcame the most damaging form of abuse ( because you don't see it) and maybe learn a few coping mechanisms to help you if you are in the same situation or know someone who is.
