Get ready for some cackling cuz we read Funny Business by Kayley Loring and boy, does it live up to its name. Successful (but questionably funny) comedian Owen Brodie is going on a six-week standup tour and wants to bring his seven-year-old son with him. The only issue is that he’ll need a nanny to travel with them. Owen’s manager suggests his niece, a fledgling comedian named Frankie…who he doesn’t know heckled Owen a few years back at a show in Tampa. Owen reluctantly hires Frankie–entirely because his son loves her. Owen and Frankie do nothing but snipe at each other, but you know what they say about the line between love and hate…
