Who will be the world's next Salvador Dali, Thierry Mugler, or Josephine Baker, launching a new wave of the avant-garde? How are new artforms created, developed, honed? And where exactly do today's artists and creatives find their inspirations?

Each week, join City of Muses host Jennifer Geraghty as she sits down with contemporary artists, poets, dancers, designers, and performers to explore what inspires them, what their creative processes are like, where their ideas come from, and how Paris has helped or hindered their dreams come true.

Inspiration and creativity meet in Paris, the City of Muses.

Ep 32 - Elly Norris: Actress and Voice Actress
My guest this week is Elly Norris, an American who moved to Paris and became an actress and voice actress, fulfilling three dreams she never imagined possible. In addition to all her acting work, Elly has also helped create a new anglophone theatre troupe in Paris called Spin Cycle Theater, which recently returned from performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Their next performance will be a series of spooky radio plays on October 20th.

What is it about Paris that helped Elly’s dreams come true, and where can you find those radio plays? Listen now to find out.
