Meanwhile tomorrow Oct 27 2020, Mitch McConnell intends to bring up a vote to confirm the other unrepentant Republicans' Supreme Court judgeship hijack. This can indeed be stopped if the Democrats in the Senate stand up tall in unison to stop this unjust thrust into the heart of our democracy. After Barack Obama was told in mid-March 2016 that he wouldn't get a hearing for anyone he nominated for SCOTUS replacement of the late Antonin Scalia because it was 'too close to the election' 8 months away in the future. And now this rule bait-and-switch a week before the election!! A vote heralded to come possibly tomorrow. Filibustering daily, one Senator after the other, until Inauguration Day Jan. 20th, along with saying "I OBJECT!!" to any asking for 'unanimous consent' during the Senate days until Inauguration Day, can blow the doors closed on this SCOTUS game being played unfairly. But the tools are there. The Democrats must use them. With intense determination and devotion to our country.
