Welcome to the first episode of spring 2023 edition of Climbing the Mountain, presented by Encova Insurance.
West Virginia football starts spring practice this week and our first guest is coach Neal Brown (
00:12), who discusses what needs were addressed during the offseason, the quarterback battle, CJ Donaldson and Name, Image and Likeness.
Quarterbacks Garrett Greene and Nicco Marchiol (
11:04) then joined the program to talk about the competitive, yet healthy position battle they are having against one another, as well as what they have been working on during the offseason to better themselves.
We then close out the first episode with wide receiver Devin Carter and running back CJ Donaldson (
19:09). The duo discusses being leaders despite being relatively new to the program, while CJ talks about what it is going to take for him to be healthy going into 2023.
