This week, we're gonna be making a nice, simple entree that is sure to make everyone happy- hamburger stroganoff. This is one of my personal favorites, and can be cooked easily, even if you're tired from a long day of school or work. So, join me as we make some stroganoff!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup minced onion (about 1/3 of a medium onion)
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms OR 1- 4 oz. can
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- Base grain (I'm using rice, but egg noodles or something similar work really well)
Tools
- Cutting Board
- Sharp knife
- Large pot for your grain
- Skillet (10 inch should work for a single recipe)
- Spatula
