Ben is arguably the current ‘voice of F1,’ commentating on the prestigious sport for Channel 4 after a four-year stint performing the same job with the BBC.

A racer himself, he started in Formula Fords in 1987 – a series he is still involved in – competing at Castle Combe Circuit regularly, including as recently as 2019 when he took part in the circuit's very own Formula Ford Championship on Easter Monday's Howard’s Day meeting, in his infamous red Van Diemen RF92.
