Dr Dave Schwartz is a professor of History at UNLV, specializing in the history of gaming. His research interests include the histories of gambling, gaming, and games (including video games), Las Vegas and Nevada history, tourism, and conflict resolution.

Dave has written seven books and edited four others on the history of gaming, gambling, key and historic figures in gambling, and more.

He also studies and practices conflict resolution at UNLV since 2020.
