OUR very special guest on this week's episode of the Oz Cro Soccer Show was Canberra born, ex-Melbourne Knights and Croatian National team legend and the newly appointed president of Croatian Second Division side NK Rudes Zagreb, the one and only JOSIP SIMUNIC!

'Aussie Joe' played 105 times for the Croatian national team. Starting as a junior with Canberra Croatia, he played 369 matches in his senior club career starting in Australia with the Melbourne Knights then Germany and finally Croatia with Dinamo Zagreb.

Dubbed the 'Minister for Defence', in recognition of his status as an uncompromising defender in the Croatian national team squad, Simunic has been the assistant senior team Croatian coach and the under 19s head coach.
