With so much going on, what if the words you thought were meant for you… were actually meant for the storm?
August 6, 1993 I survived a devastating F4 tornado. In the midst of the storm my late grandmother urged me, my 3-year old cousin, and great-aunt to be "quiet, be still." Fast forward to today and I was up in the middle of the night watching Fox 35 Orlando’s meteorologist, Brooks Garner, confirm a tornado live on air while urging his team to take shelter and notifying the National Weather Service. In that moment, the flood of memories came rushing back as I was reminded of the power of maintaining faith in chaos, peace in persecution, and hope in helplessness.
In this episode, our host will explore what it truly means to find refuge in life’s storms, to stand firm in faith, and to embrace the stillness that restores confidence—even when everything around you is being torn apart.
