A message of comfort shared at the funeral of a faithful woman: Though her body grew weak, her spirit was clothed in strength. Outwardly she may have seemed frail, but within, she bore a quiet and steadfast faith — a vessel of endurance and love. In her suffering, she bore witness to the unseen strength that comes from God. As St. Paul reminds us, ‘Though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day’ (2 Corinthians 4:16, OSB).
