Hello from Ängsbacka, a lil community in the Swedish country-side where I’ve been living this summer.
It is also a (magical) place where I first got initiated into tea ceremony 2 years ago, and that completely changed my life.
🍵 Tea has been one of my greatest TEAchers, guides & healers in the last couple of years. It’s been one of my deepest spiritual practices, regulating techniques & grounding forces, rooting me into a sense of safety & home within.
In this episode, I sit & drink (my fav) Gentle Home tea with George Zouein - Joy, a tea mystic & a tea poet anchoring the art of tea on this potent land, & sharing its medicine with thousands of people who pass by Ängsbacka for a number of festivals & courses each year.
This is a conversation about tea, but it’s not really about tea. It is carried by the Spirit of tea. It is about what Tea invites us into.
As Joy puts it, tea creates an excuse for you to sit with yourself, create a space of silence & stillness, empty yourself and dive into the essence of what Is.
