Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Bryce Young is showing real signs of life with 3 TDs against a good Rams defense - is he finally figuring it out? Blake Corum had a massive game and is clearly a bigger part of the Rams' game plan now. Devin Singletary has a FANTASTIC playoff schedule ahead. Plus Isaiah Likely gets a juicy matchup against a Bengals defense that gave up TDs to three different tight ends last week. We're breaking down all the top pickups at QB, RB, WR, TE, and DST.
Fantasy Dumpster Darlings: The best deep-league pickups from last week that nobody owned. Shedeur Sanders dropped 34 points, Jaylen Wright had 16.7, and Mike Gesicki continues to be fantasy gold when you need him. This week's lineup scored 149.16 points - these are the names you need to know for desperate playoff moves.
Blue Jays Hot Stove Check-In: Toronto signed Cody Ponce to a $10M deal and I really like this move. The Blue Jays need starting pitching depth badly, and Ponce has the stuff that Pete Walker can work with. Toronto is making smart moves, setting up next year's rotation with this year's money. They're still in on everyone - Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette both. It's getting slightly more realistic that they could get BOTH. Tucker's market seems to be coming down a bit - does it come down enough to fit Bo into the budget?
Baseball Hall of Fame Debate: I don't get the Barry Bonds stuff. They had their chance to catch him during his career. Once the career is done, we don't get to legislate what was right and wrong. My cutoff: if you tested positive, you're out. If not, we're just guessing - educated guessing, but guessing. Jeff Kent is a fine choice, and funny how people point to Bonds being a dick as a reason to keep him out when Kent was NEVER beloved either. Carlos Delgado is at 18% and getting closer - if he were a Yankee he'd be in by now. The Blue Jays need to celebrate Delgado more.
UFC Pound-for-Pound Rankings Update: After UFC 323, there are some major changes. Merab Dvalishvili drops out of my top 3 after losing to Petr Yan. Speaking of Yan, he moves into my top 10 with that dominant title-winning performance. Joshua Van also cracks the top 10 after his flyweight title win (even though it was a fluky injury finish). Alexandre Pantoja falls down a couple spots after losing the belt. Breaking down all the movements and where these elite fighters rank now.
NXT Call-Ups: Who's ready for the WWE main roster? Oba Femi is ready NOW. Ricky Starks is ready NOW. The problem? If you call up Oba, Ricky, AND Ethan Page, NXT's men's main event scene falls apart.
