Today we explored Paul's letter to the Galatians. Paul writes to them because having put their faith in Jesus alone to save them there were now some people trying to deceive them and tell them that Jesus alone wasn't enough and they needed to do more. Paul says that this is not true, and in fact is no gospel (good news) at all. Today Matt walked us through some modern day versions of this false gospel "Jesus + something else" in order to be really saved. We discovered that what Paul says to the Galatians is still true today, that Jesus death and resurrection alone is the good news for us, Jesus has saved us, and He alone is our hope.
