Sadly, last month I lost my brother to suicide. Typically when this happens we don’t talk about it - but this stigma is exactly what breeds these situations. Because of this, I am personally committed to sharing what I have learned through navigating this experience and in this episode I provide practical solutions to prevent death by suicide, and care for those affected by it using my expertise in mental health.
This is part 2 of a 2 part series.
In this second episode, you’ll learn:
1) Important topics to educate yourself upon & resources you can use to assist you in creating safe, supportive & positive spaces for your loved ones, your colleagues and practices (including how to support someone with an addiction or who might be thinking of suicide);
2) 6 things you need to start implementing to support others with their mental health (some of these suggestions will be the opposite of what you think you should do - it’s important to understand what these are);
3) How to support the men in your life with their mental health & important considerations for men’s mental health (including why many romantic partners become the sole person their male partner confides in and why this often doesn’t provide adequate support for either person in the relationship - though it’s much better than saying nothing at all);
4) How to support your own mental health as a spaceholder, coach, therapist, facilitator, consultant or other professional working in the mental health, personal development and wellbeing industry; and
5) How to best support someone affected by suicide and be supported if you lose someone to suicide.
This episode has been recorded to raise awareness on suicide, and is highly recommended for all, particularly those of you who work in the coaching, mental health, healing, helping, personal development and therapy industry.

CLB 290: Intentional Life Design for Women in Business
How do you create a business that SUPPORTS the life you want to live?
For e.g. if you love to travel, or you love spontaneity, or you love working only in the afternoons and a few evenings per week - how do you create a business that allows for this lifestyle?
If you’re going through a rough season in life and have less energy to give to your business - how do you support yourself to give yourself and your life the attention it needs while continuing to move forward on your business?
Today I‘m SO excited to be introducing you to one of the most important (and FAVOURITE) concepts I teach my clients in order to achieve this: it’s called Intentional Life Design (“IDL”) and it’s for you if you’re a woman in business or a woman working in the coaching & personal development industry.
IDL is a concept that allows you to create a world class business doing what you love while also LIVING the life you most need & desire in order to THRIVE. It’s a personal development concept I teach that you can use whether you’re a business owner or not, and it’s fundamental to my World Class framework and Holistic approach to business.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
1. The 3 things you need to be attuned to at all times in order to THRIVE in life
2. The 3 steps which make up Intentional Life Design (aka HOW you create a business that SUPPORTS your desired life - no matter what phase of business you’re in right now)
3. Powerful coaching prompts to get you started.
Walk away from today’s episode knowing that you truly can create anything and feeling pumped for your future (and probably slightly relieved)! Understand that your unique desires, needs and purpose are showing you what is possible for you, and feeling crystal clear on what you need to focus your attention on in order to create this.
After all, your business and work in the world should be in support & HARMONY with your most beautiful life - that’s the entire point! (Or, at least it is around here).
