Sadly, last month I lost my brother to suicide. Typically when this happens we don’t talk about it - but this stigma is exactly what breeds these situations. Because of this, I am personally committed to sharing what I have learned through navigating this experience and in this episode I provide practical solutions to prevent death by suicide, and care for those affected by it using my expertise in mental health. This is part 2 of a 2 part series. In this second episode, you’ll learn: 1) Important topics to educate yourself upon & resources you can use to assist you in creating safe, supportive & positive spaces for your loved ones, your colleagues and practices (including how to support someone with an addiction or who might be thinking of suicide); 2) 6 things you need to start implementing to support others with their mental health (some of these suggestions will be the opposite of what you think you should do - it’s important to understand what these are); 3) How to support the men in your life with their mental health & important considerations for men’s mental health (including why many romantic partners become the sole person their male partner confides in and why this often doesn’t provide adequate support for either person in the relationship - though it’s much better than saying nothing at all); 4) How to support your own mental health as a spaceholder, coach, therapist, facilitator, consultant or other professional working in the mental health, personal development and wellbeing industry; and 5) How to best support someone affected by suicide and be supported if you lose someone to suicide. This episode has been recorded to raise awareness on suicide, and is highly recommended for all, particularly those of you who work in the coaching, mental health, healing, helping, personal development and therapy industry. CLB 297: How to Create a Signature Offer for Your Business
Today we are doing a deep dive into the first PHASE of the business cycle and an offer’s journey from $0 to $200K+ in revenue: Starting your signature offer. It is SO important to consider 8 specific things when designing a signature offer for your business so that you build your business on a foundation that will set you up for success in the long term. Many coaches, personal development providers and business owners are not doing this and then have to go back to this phase of the business journey to re-align and start again - usually with lots of stress, frustration and resentment by this stage. And unfortunately for many they simply quit their business for good. But not you! This episode is for you if you’re: Starting a new offer for your business, starting a business for the first time, thinking about pivoting your business, if you’re an established business owner but something doesn’t feel aligned or right with your current business model, you’re thinking about expanding your suite of offers for your business or you now need a new signature offer for your business in order to meet your new business, life or scaleability goals. In fact - I recommend that you all listen to this episode no matter what’s happening in your business right now as it’s very likely at least 1 of these 8 considerations that I speak to in this episode have not been intentionally considered and therefore should be as soon as possible in order to avoid future issues. Most importantly, you’ll learn about creating WORLD CLASS signature offers and an Aligned Business Model for you and your business. Happy listening!
