Whilst starting your own business can be scary and intimidating, many of the people I have met who are now self-employed have mentioned their passion for what they do. You can see it when you talk to them - they literally light up when they tell you about what they do, or a new project they're working on. And that feeling of doing 'what lights you up' is so important if you're going to succeed at running your own business.
