PSL8 Final
In this episode, we talk about the thriller of a game - that was the final of the PSL8. The perfect way to end another explosive season of the PSL. The final was played between Multan Sultans and the Lahore Qalandars - with Lahore opting to bat first, again relying on their bowling strength to help them defend the total. There were some handy innings throughout but the final blow was dealt by Shaheen Shah Afridi, accumulating a quick fire 45 at the end to propel his team to a very good fighting total. Multan were put in to chase. Things were going well for them but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. At the end, the game went on to the final over with the momentum shifting back and forth between the Sultans and the Qalandars. Multan needed 13 off the last over, where Zaman Khan was given the big responsibility of bowling the final over. And he showed class by defending the total given to him. Sultans tried their level best, but in the end, just couldn't cross the finishing line, falling short by just one run. πŸ’” for the Sultans. And πŸŽ‰ for the Qalandars, who won their 2nd consecutive PSL trophy. That's all from this season of the podcast, covering the PSL8. We will be back with more Pakistan cricket content in more episodes of the podcast. Stay tuned ✌️
