On Sunday, June 9th 2024, a 14 year old boy named Jesse Stone broke into his 91 year old neighbor's home and began to beat and assault her. This left her with numerous injuries and after he fled the scene, she called 911. Jesse was the primary suspect almost instantly thanks to security camera footage and the nail in the coffin was his DNA on her undergarments. Jesse repeatedly denied what he had done but eventually confessed following a conversation with two detectives and his legal guardian, his grandmother. What would cause a child to do this?
