Amy Jackson started her casting career as full time assistant to Sasha Robertson, where she took a huge amount of responsibility in the busy commercials department, running and organising casting sessions for a wide variety of well-known and high-quality products and working with some hugely respected directors and producers. It was here that she found her love of casting and after a year, decided she wanted to go freelance and focus more on casting Film and TV projects.
She has been fortunate enough to assist and work alongside well-established esteemed Casting Directors including Kate Rhodes James, Julie Harkin, Jina Jay, Kate Dowd, Gemma Sykes, Rachel Freck and Rachel Sheridan. Amy has also had experience casting various shorts and other projects independently as Casting Director.
Amy is currently working as Casting Associate to Amy Hubbard.
She has worked on projects such as the television adaption of ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’, ‘In My Skin’, the Sci-Fi thriller ‘Devs’ and the upcoming ‘The Girl Before’. She currently works along side Amy Hubbard as an associate.
