He is a Principal Investigator at the ELLIS Institute Tübingen, working closely with Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and Tübingen AI Center. He is leading the Safety- and Efficiency- aligned Learning group, aiming to improve safety and efficiency of Machine Learning.
