In the third episode of "Cybersecurity In The Modern World", we take a deeper look at IoT (Internet of Things) devices. Due to the high number of IoT devices in circulation right now, from Ring security cameras, to Google Homes and Amazon Alexas, hackers have a lot of options to choose from and attack, and since most people don’t have the proper security set up on their devices, it makes it easier for cyber criminals to find an opening and exploit them. We’ll listen to input from Chief Security Officer of Google DeepMind, Vijay Bolina, and Professor Banafa, media expert on IoT, Blockchain, AI, Cybersecurity & College of Engineering Professor at San Jose State University.
