Christian and Elissa reflect on the sacramental nature of parenting. By exploring what a sacrament is and does, they think that being a parent fits pretty well within an Orthodox understanding of a sacramental worldview, seeing it as a path of transformation. That doesn’t mean that it’s always fun or enjoyable, but it is certainly beautiful.
