After a series of podcasts in recent months, the new London-based imprint Ebbs & Flows presents its inaugural release: Owl’s Spectral Shadows. The record feels like an artist and a label meeting on the same wavelength, both drawn to subtle tension and to spaces where rhythm holds its breath. Owl has always had a way of turning minimal means into emotional weight, and this release extends that curiosity into something more cinematic, but never indulgent.
Our premiere, “Infinite Dusk,” is the shadow at the edge of that world. It moves with the patience of fog drifting through an empty dockyard - rhythm suspended in its own breath, melody folded into vapor. The halftime pulse anchors an atmosphere thick with suggestion: faint strings flicker like reflections on water, while metallic cries echo in the distance. It’s a track that lives in the moment before something happens, and lingers there just long enough to make you feel it might.
Infinite Dusk and the rest of the Spectral Shadows EP are coming out on November 27.

PREMIERE: Dexter Colt - The Sleeper Must Awaken [Super Enjoy]
Super Enjoy. A relatively new label on the scene, this crew is moving from Singapore to the world. With seven strong releases since the start of 2024, they've already well and truly shaped their sound and forged a prominent position in Asia and on dancefloors across the globe. Their diverse, yet distinct, style spans smoked-out, dub-infused house and techno, and playful breaks, featuring works from artists like Bongoman, emanon, Sigmoid FM, Kross Section, and Dexter Colt.
Dexter Colt is a dedicated selector, whose passion for digging up and platforming new sounds is in plain sight with his work on Singapore’s Darker than Wax and Super Enjoy. He's on a mission to discover music daily and bring emerging artists to the forefront - and it's time we do the same for him. He's no stranger to NYC, the home of Delayed, where he regularly joins Marco Weibel’s monthly Darker Than Wax show on the city’s The Lot Radio, hosting guests whose styles and energies span all corners of the music scene.
Today we’re highlighting a new track of his ‘The Sleeper Must Awaken’, off the Super Enjoy co-founder’s debut solo EP, ‘Mesmeric’. And mesmeric is a perfect word for the track. It’s dancefloor-focused with a hypnotic pull, an ambient touch, and deep, dusty, levitating basslines. Every track on the EP oozes personality. This is a refreshing new discovery, and definitely one to keep a close eye on for home listening or to get people moving.
‘Mesmeric’ is released digitally on October 24th.
