During the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863, the Cupola of the Seminary building was occupied by Brigadier General John Buford and his Signal Officer, Lt. Aaron Jerome. When you visit Seminary Ridge, you can stand in that very location for yourself and learn even more at the Seminary Ridge Museum.
