Balram Yatra is a part of Indian Epic Mahabharata. When the elder brother of Sri Krishna decided not to take part in the Mahabharat war, he decided to go on a pilgrimage along the Saraswati river from Dwarka to Kurukshetra. It took him 42 days to do this Yatra along the Saraswati which had already begun to dry up by then. The yatra takes us through the scenic route along which the most ancient civilizations once flourished.
