In Chapter Twenty-one of The Chronicles of Belteshazzar, Daniel is thrown into the Lions’ Den. In the morning, when the lions’ den door is opened, Daniel emerges unharmed to the surprise and dismay of Haman and his supporters. Naaman and Daniel meet with King Nebuchadnezzar to warn him of Haman’s secret plot against him. Using the story of Back to the Future Part II, I’ll talk about how removing the Bible from American society has cast us into our own modern version of the Lions’ Den.
