Washington Commanders vs Seattle Seahawks NFL Week 9 Game Preview | Jayden Daniels Returns At QB

The Washington Commanders (3-5) get Jayden Daniels back officially and take on the Seattle Seahawks (5-2), fresh off a bye, on Sunday Night Football. Both teams will be wearing their throwback uniforms.We touch on the All-22 Review vs Kansas City to begin the episode. What went well? What could've been better? KDot highlights the younger guys playing on defense, specifically Jordan Magee and Tyler Owens.We begin, as we always do, with the injury report for the game. The Commanders injury report sees Terry McLaurin out once again, but the rest of the team looks good to go, with Laremy Tunsil and Johnny Newton appearing good to go, and Deebo Samuel not even being listed on the injury report. On the other side, Seattle are largely healthy, with only Julian Love likely to miss the game.The Commanders offense, featuring Jayden Daniels once again, take on a tremendously disciplined and fast Seahawks defense that has been difficult for opponents to break down this season. They are #1 against the run, but running backs do get targets out of the backfield against this team. Amit suggests Deebo Samuel play as a wingback and be used as an RB now and then to exploit this opportunity. Names to look out for with the Seahawks defense include Ernest Jones, Uchenna Nwosu, Devon Witherspoon, Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy.The Commanders defense goes against Sam Darnold and this explosive passing attack that the Seahawks possess. WR Jaxson Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving yards and is an explosive player each time he touches the ball. The Seahawks commit to running the ball to sustain drives and slow the game down.The Commanders are home underdogs by 3 points and the over-under is 48.5 points.
