I produced How to Save a Life as a CD in January 2007, which was near the end of my six-month stint as one of the resident DJs at Amsterdam, a popular club in Atlanta. It marked the beginning of a two-year creative period during which I created seven different CDs, each one featuring an atmospheric framing device at the beginning and end.At the time I produced How to Save a Life, I was doing more in-studio work than live mixing. I incorporated some of that studio work into the CD with my own mash-up of Gustavo Santoalalla's "Wings (Theme to Brokeback Mountain)" and Toni Braxton's hit song "Spanish Guitar."Because How to Save a Life began a new phase in my DJ career, it has always held a special place in my heart. I hope you enjoy it.Songs: "Turn on the Music" (Axwell Remix) ~ Roger Sanchez"I Need Someone" (Kobbe & Austin Lees Mix) ~ Ralph Falcon "Rock This Party" (Mike Cruz Vocal) ~ Bob Sinclair "My My My" (Funktuary Club Mix) ~ Armin Van Helden"The World is Mine" (DJ Luis Erre Dark Tribal) ~ David Guetta "Melt with the Sun" (Hex Hector Club Mix) ~ Amber "Reg" (Pasta Boys Remix) ~ Ame"Electro" (Club Mix) ~ Outwork"Go!"
