Stars Rally To Beat Oilers 4-3 In Shootout, Extend Point Streak To 7 | DLLS STARS POSTGAME
The Dallas Stars rallied from deficits of 2-0 and 3-1 to beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in a shootout on Tuesday night at American Airlines Center, giving Glen Gulutzan a victory in his first meeting with his former team. The win extends the Stars’ point streak to seven games (4-0-3). Mikko Rantanen scored twice, his 300th and 301st career NHL goals, and added an assist, while Wyatt Johnston registered three primary assists and Connor McDavid led the Oilers with two points (1 goal, 1 assist). Casey DeSmith out-dueled Stuart Skinner, finishing with 23 saves in regulation and overtime and then going 2-for-3 in the shootout to improve to 2-1-1 in his first four starts of the season.
