S2 E30 🦖💨 Pulling Issues Question
Doberman Owners Tia asked us a very good question on FB. Make sure to check out our training group under “ Doberman Training Techniques” with over 57k amazing members! “Is there a most effective way to teach a Doberman to walk on a lead properly without pulling? Used multiple trainers, used different types of techniques and he doesn’t pick up on any of them even after months of repetitive use. He is 16 months old and we have been trying since bringing him home at 8 weeks. He’s not at all food motivated, and we’ve tried so many different foods but as soon as we’re outside he doesn’t care for food at all. Even his favorite toys, pats, praise, games etc, nothings interesting for him when we’re outside and he is so easily distracted by anything and will not listen. He gets regular runs in large paddocks which he loves, all food is given while training or in games/food dispensers, and he is otherwise a slow but enthusiastic learner. He’s just so strong and walks are just frustrating and painful.” Tia
