Lisa Marie Penn, a passionate artist from Ocean Pines, is this months featured artist at Burley Oak Brewing Company in Berlin. Inspired by her father, a Baltimore city firefighter, she specializes in metal sea creatures and fire department artwork. After his passing, she launched her art business, leaving her job at Amtrak and moving to the shore. Balancing motherhood and art, shes now juggling a full-time job and teaching painted screen workshops. Her art is on display at Burley Oak taproom through the end of the month, with proceeds going to charities.
