Alex Deibold is a Professional Snowboarder, Husband, Father, Olympic Bronze Medalist, and avid golfer. His story is full of highs and lows, but one constant: Snowboarding. With his parents' support Alex started on a board at an early age. He found success quickly once he started competing. He attended the Stratton Mountain School to focus on snowboarding (and a little school) before being selected to the U.S. National Team. He has competed in the Olympics twice, winning the Bronze Medal in Snowboard Cross at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Days leading up to the 2022 Winter Olympics, Alex suffered a crash landing him in a medically induced coma. Since then, he and his wife have welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their world.   Alex and I talk about all things snowboarding, his road to the Olympics, the highs and lows of competition, mental health, service and transition, parenting, and a little golf.
