Dr. Olufemi Mulkah Ajagun-Ogunleye (PhD) is a visionary Researcher and Lecturer in Medical Biochemistry at the Lagos State University College of Medicine, Ikeja, Lagos. She is an EmpowerHER Health Research Fellow at Women in Global Health, Nigeria. Her dynamic portfolio spans Nutrition, Neuroscience, Women’s Health, Maternal and Child Health, and Healthy Ageing; interwoven by an unwavering passion for health equity and translational science that uplifts communities.
With academic roots in Pure and Applied Chemistry from LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, followed by a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from UNILAG, Lagos and a PhD degree from Kampala International University, Uganda, Dr. Ajagun-Ogunleye brings precision, curiosity, and compassion to every facet of her work. As a devoted mentor, Dr. Ajagun-Ogunleye leads a thriving postgraduate research hub, nurturing the next generation of scientists with the skills and confidence to challenge convention and drive solutions.
