Sunday Service // Made to Garden: M.N.O.P. // August 17, 2025
Pastor Andy Cass In this message, we explore what it means to truly "garden" the life God has entrusted to us, using the parable of the talents as a guide. Learn how Managing, Nurturing, Offering, and Protecting (MNOP) can transform your faith, relationships, and purpose into a flourishing harvest. TEXT: Genesis 2:15, Matthew 25:14-19, Proverbs 16:3, Deuteronomy 6:6-9, Leviticus 19:9-10, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, John 10:10, Exodus 14:14, Nehemiah 4:14, Matthew 25:21 NOTES: Big Idea: “Just because you plant doesn’t mean you’ll produce a crop.” Reminder: You are made to garden — placed in a garden of growth, opportunity, and blessing. Root 01: The mindset of a gardener is humility. Root 02: The cadence of a gardener is infused with faithfulness and patience. Root 03: The actions of the gardener are Managing, Nurturing, Offering, and Protecting (MNOP). Living Between L & Q M – Management: Assessment: Know what you’ve been entrusted with. Plan: “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” Schedule: 6 on, 1 off (Sabbath). N – Nurturing: God would rather see you fail trying than fail by not trying because of fear. O – Offering: “It’s not just how you care, but how you share.” P – Protection: “A gardener doesn’t just plant—they protect.”
