I just spent two weeks in Guatemala exploring Mayan pyramids and the jungle, and in this episode, I’m sharing my biggest takeaways about the Mayan civilization, temple technology and their spiritual beliefs.
The Mayans saw trees as sacred, and their most revered tree, the Ceiba, was considered the first tree on Earth. It was believed to connect the underworld, the human world, and the heavens.
